Supported by great MEDIA COVERAGE, including Space TV, Omni TV,
Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, NOW magazine and many others – this year
FANTASY WOLRDWIDE's success has proven to us (again) how important it
is to give a showcase to the fantasy and science fiction films, which
do not have a substantial niche at many other film festivals.
Key highlights of the Festival 2005
included films and the attendance of filmmakers from around the world. Among the celebrated films was Lord of the Brush , Canada – a visually outstanding biography of the Canadian artist, John Howe, the illustrator of J.R.R. Tolkien's world and Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The Gala Parties were held at trendy clubs in downtown Toronto, and generated a lot of additional exposure for the festival and its Sponsors.
