Dear Friends,

Some of you may know about our film festival, FANTASY WORLDWIDE -- which focuses on films in the fantasy and sci-fi genres (films such as "Lord of the Rings," "Harry Potter," "Finding Nemo," etc.). We launched our little festival in 2005 — and it's not so little any longer! We are growing big - and fast - and we need help! And this is the reason for this email/newsletter. FANTASY WORLDWIDE is looking for individuals and companies to get on board and help us make this a truly global, world-class festival. We are getting recognition from around the world with filmmakers, filmgoers, fan clubs, fantasy/sci-fi authors, distributors, etc. Essentially, we've created a "global playground" for filmgoers and filmmakers who love fantasy and sci-fi films. The messages we deliver via the films we screen, from around the globe, are meant to "inspire, empower and encourage" our audience.

We are a fun and spirited team, with a playful sense of humor and we hold the vision of creating a more relaxed, friendly world and following our hearts -- as Albert Schweitzer once said:”I do not know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know: the only ones among you who will be truly happy are those who will have sought and found how to serve. ”
The festival is taking place annually, in downtown Toronto, and the next dates are October 17-21, 2007.

At present, we are seeking partners, sponsors and volunteers (please note we are not-for-profit). For volunteers, we are looking for people who have experience and are interested in helping in the following areas:

• sponsorship
• event planning
• publicity
• marketing & promotions
• sales
• guest relations (celebrities, filmmakers, etc.)
• and so on...

If there is one word that sums up this festival, it is this: FUN!
